From September the 11 to October the 11 Amelia, one of the more ancient town in Umbria with the name of Ameria, will be invaded by art and culture. This is Ameria Festival. Artistic consultant of the venue is Peter Stein. One month of music, theater, expositions, meetings. Among the guests of the Festival many known names and many news: Uto Ughi, Bruno Canino, Arturo Annecchino, Peter Stein, Europa Musica Choir and Orchestra, Santa Cecilia Academy Soloists, Rome Opera Wind Quintet, Simona Marchini. The third edition of Barbarossa Price will be assigned to Terence Hill.
As every year the festival is organized in week end in order to facilitate people coming from other regions. Friday is the day of music, Saturday of theater or jazz, Sunday of more popular venues and of Food and Wine, one of the most important tradition in Umbria.
